Dell launches gaming beasts G Series, Alienware machines

Two new gaming laptop series from Dell are arriving in the Philippines: the G Series and the much-awaited Alienware machines.

Gaming on-the-go

Included in the G Series are the G7 15 (7590), G5 15 (5590), and G3 15 (3590). In addition, the Dell G5 gaming desktop will be arriving in the country soon.

First from this lineup is the slim but savage G7 15. One of the thinnest gaming laptops in the market, the G7 15 comes at 19.9mm thin and weighs 2.62kg. It will arrive in the Philippines in a sleek Abyss Grey color, with its price tag starting at P46,990. Aside from its slim form factor, its 60 or 90WHr battery makes gaming-on-the-go a breeze.

Next up, the G5 15 and G5 SE impress with their stunning displays. The 15.6-inch screen has smaller bezels to bring a more immersive experience. If gamers want a bigger screen, the G5’s multimedia connectivity will make it easier to plug it into an extra display. Available in Deep Space Black and Alpine White, these laptops let users game in style. Prices start from P68,990.

Delivering power and performance at a competitive price point, the G3 15 come equipped with a new Game Shift feature. This enables maximum fan speed for optimal processor performance with the click of a button. At 21.6mm thin, the G3 has a 51Whr battery and a P113,990 starting price.

All three new G Series laptops boast 9th-gen Intel Core Mobile CPUs, offering desktop-caliber performance. Complementing this is NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX graphic cards up to 1660Ti. In addition, the laptops carry FHD anti-glare displays with a 240Hz refresh rate and narrow bezels for a fast and immersive gaming experience.

The first G Series desktop

Dell’s G Series extends to the realm of desktops with the game-ready Dell G5. This machine boasts up to i7K-Series CPUs, VR-capable NVIDIA GeForce GTX and RTX graphics, high-fidelity visuals and split-second responsiveness.

Upgrading this beast of a desktop is easy with its tool-less entry and additional storage slots. Optimal cooling with four thermal mode options can be set in the Alienware Command Center.

The Dell G5 gaming desktop will arrive in Dell retail stores starting this December with prices starting at P57,990.

A thinner, more powerful Alienware

The newest addition to Dell’s Philippine portfolio is the Alienware lineup. The first product to be available locally is the lean Alienware m15, the range’s thinnest 15-inch gaming laptop yet.

Engineered for gamers who prioritize mobility, the m15 boasts Intel processors and NVIDIA GeForce GPUs. It also brings to the table new features like Tobii eyetracking and the Aleinware Cryo-Tech 3.0 thermal module. Additional design features include an all-magnesium chassis, re-engineered keyboard, precision-point glass touchpad, SSD-only storage, and RGB LED AlienFX lighting.

The Alienware m15 starts at P149,990 and will be available by December 2019.
