Canon’s midrange EOS 90D, M6 Mark II priced

DSLR and mirrorless camera users in the market for 4K-capable APS-C shooters can now get their hands on the Canon EOS 90D and EOS M6 Mark II.

Built to perform

The latest addition to the EOS DSLR line, the EOS 90D is armed with enhanced ergonomics and operability. It has an advanced viewfinder and a high-speed, high-precision Dual Pixel CMOS Auto Focus technology. Moreover, its 32.5MP APS-C sensor allows users to capture even fast-moving subjects with greater ease.

Sporting Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus, this camera keeps subjects in focus to create striking portraits. It also has over 5,481 AF positions and up to EV -5 low-intensity limit.

The camera is powered by an advanced DIGIC 8 imaging tech and boast ISO sensitivity of up to 51,200. In addition, the silent electronic shutter has a maximum speed of 1/16,000 of a second.

As for its video capabilities, the EOS 90D shoots in 4K 30p/25p in either cropped or uncropped format. Shooting in cropped mode will enable users to achieve more zoom, while shooting in uncropped will give them actual field of view for the lens they’re using.

Made to impress

For mirrorless fans, check out the EOS M6 Mark II, which comes with enhanced fast-locking and fast-tracking autofocus and a 32.5MP sensor. This camera sports a compact form factor, making it easy to bring along everywhere so you’re always ready to capture moments. Similar to the EOS 90D, this camera shoots in uncropped 4K, has Canon’s latest DIGIC 8 Image processor, and is designed with the Dual Pixel CMOS Auto Focus Technology.

Easy and seamless connectivity

To allow users to upload their photos with ease, both the EOS 90D and the EOS M6 Mark II support Bluetooth Low Energy technology and built-in WiFi connectivity. It also has support for the Canon Camera Connect app, which can turn your smartphone into a live viewfinder or a remote control.

The EOS 90D (body only) sells for P74,498, while the camera with EF-S 18-55mm kit lens goes for P81,998. If you want to get the EF-S 18-135mm kit lens, be prepared to shell out P94,998.

Meanwhile, the EOS M6 Mark II retails for P53,998. Plunk down P78,998 for the 18-150 kit or P60,998 for the 15-45 kit.
