Canon Philippines has introduced six new printers that cater to different professionals and needs.
First up are the PIXMA G570 (P12,795) and PIXMA G670 (P16,095) 6-color refillable ink tank printers that offer ultra-low cost printing while delivering very high yields.
The full set of ink (black, grey, cyan, magenta, yellow, red) included with the printer alone can deliver approximately 3,800 sheets of 4×6” prints. The addition of red ink supercharges photographs ranging from blood-red sunsets to automobiles in gleaming red, while grey ink ensures consistent monochromatic accuracy in print.
According to Canon, the new ink system combines with Canon photo papers to deliver print longevity, with photos that can resist fading for up to 200 years under storage conditions. The G670 adds scan and copy functions on top of printing; the G570 only offers printing.
For small and mid-size offices, there’s the Canon MAXIFY GX7070 (P38,995) and MAXIFY GX6070 (P31,995) refillable ink tank printers.
A full set of ink delivers approximately 6,000 grayscale pages, and 14,000 pages in color. In Economy mode, the printer can yield up to 9,000 and 21,000 pages of grayscale and color, respectively.
Meanwhile, professional photographers and graphic artists who have high-quality printing requirements can check out the imagePROGRAF PRO-300 (P41,995) and PIXMA PRO-200 (P29,995) professional A3 photo printers.
The imagePROGRAF PRO-300 features a new LUCIA PRO 10-ink system, including a matte black ink that increases black density for non-glossy media and enables a wider monochromatic range in dark zones.
The PIXMA PRO-200, on the other hand, uses an 8-ink configuration designed to deliver an expanded color reproduction, with improved black density over previous generations.
Both printers support the new Canon Premium Fine Art Rough media for exhibition-ready prints.
