Cheers, Potterheads: Harry Potter Butterbeer Bar set to open in NYC

There is no doubt that the world’s biggest Harry Potter store in New York has become the dream destination of many Potterheads. And as if that isn’t exciting enough, Warner Bros. has shared a glimpse of another attraction to get you flying out on a Firebolt broomstick in no time—its actual “Butterbeer Bar.”

This non-alcoholic pub inside the huge store will serve draft Butterbeer popularized by the Harry Potter series. Expect to taste the magic from the moment you step in, as the area will feature “a giant cascade of glowing Butterbeer bottles” that gives that seem to “float” over the bar “as Butterbeer moves magically across the ceiling through copper pipes,” the company said.

Aside from the Butterbeer on draft, the bar will also be serving Butterbeer Ice Cream and bottled Butterbeer with labels exclusively designed for the Harry Potter store in New York.

The new Butterbeer Bar is set to open along with the entire 21,000 square-foot store on July 3. Prior to its launch, the famed drink has been available in Warner Bros. Studio Tour London and Universal Studio theme parks.
