Bren Esports bags Mobile Legends world championship

The Philippine team nabbed Game 7 in just 14 minutes!

Philippines’ Bren Esports took home the world title from the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M2 World Championships in Singapore after beating out Myanmar’s Burmese Ghouls, 4-3.

On the road to the finals, Bren Esports was defeated by the Burmese Ghouls during the early stages of the playoffs. They were dropped to the lower bracket but bounced back by stringing three straight victories.

In its rematch against the Ghouls, the Philippine team dominated the ghouls, initially leading by 2-0. Burmese answered with fury, winning the next three games. The score tied in the next game, forcing a Game 7 to decide the winner.

Hungry for the crown, Bren nabbed its Game 7 win in just 14 minutes with leader Karl Gabriel Nepomuceno aka KarlTzy awarded the Finals MVP.
