Alienware’s portable gaming PC looks like a Nintendo Switch

Alienware unveiled its Concept UFO prototype at CES 2020 and it looks very similar to the Nintendo Switch. However, unlike the Switch, Concept UFO is a full Windows 10 gaming PC that can play and run PC games.

Its form factor mirrors the Switch in many ways. Like the console, Alienware’s prototype comes with two detachable controllers. It has an 8-inch screen that users can dock to a TV or monitor. The display part also has a kickstand and there’s even a central piece that can connect the two controllers to each other.

On the device are USB-C ports for charging and connectivity. Aside from monitors, users can connect a variety of accessories to the gaming device, including keyboards and mouse.

The new Alienware machine will probably have access to a bigger library of games compared to the Switch. Demos at CES 2020 show the console running titles like Rocket League, F1 2019, Mortal Kombat 11, and World War Z.

Alienware’s Twitter account says it will spill more details about the prototype, such as specs, during its CES showcase.
