Samsung has quietly launched new earbuds through one of its audio brands, AKG. The AKG N400 true wireless earbuds come with features the Galaxy Buds+ lack, such as active noise cancelation and water resistance. The buds also have a five-hour battery life and wireless charging support.
Pumping the sound are 8.2mm drivers with two microphones per earbud for noise cancelation. The noise-canceling feature promises distortion-free sound, and it can be turned on and off through the app. For calls, there’s beamforming technology, which enhances the audio quality during voice calls. .
Users can tap and swipe on the earbud for music controls, answering calls, and adjusting volumes. Moreover, they can also command virtual assistants by tapping on the buds.
With IPX7 water resistance, the buds are good for use at the gym or in the rain.
Currently, the AKG N400 are available on Samsung’s Korean site for KRW 230,000 (around P9,600). The buds come in Black, Silver, and Navy.
