6 things you need to know about the Maxus G50

The Maxus G50 is the latest addition to the growing lineup of Maxus vehicles in the country. But unlike its siblings, the Maxus G10 and G50, which come with a diesel engine, this new multipurpose vehicle comes with a turbocharged gasoline mill.

Here’s what you need to know about this eight-seater MPV:

  1. It’s ideal for young entrepreneurs and up-and-coming managers who need a multi-purpose vehicle for their daily transport, their business or delivery vehicle, or their weekend leisure ride with the entire household.
  2. It comes in three variants: the 1.5 Turbo DCT Pro (P1.088 million), 1.5 Turbo DCT Elite (P1.168M), and 1.5 Turbo DCT Premium (P1.288M).
  3. The exterior is highlighted by a massive front grille flanked by a couple of sporty-looking air intakes. From behind, the G50 looks more like a minivan than an MPV thanks to its huge tailgate and windshield
  4. Some of its standard features include a reverse camera, keyless entry, push-start button, electronic stabilization program, and electronic parking brake with auto hold. All variants come with a touchscreen infotainment system; the Pro has an 8-inch while the Elite and Premium come with a bigger 12-inch one. A panoramic sunroof, mobile wireless charging, LED headlights, and power tailgate are available for the Premium variant.
  5. The Maxus G50 splashes in with the coolest colors. The Pro comes in Warm White, Warm Argent, Metal Black, and Water Blue. The Elite is available in Roland Purple, Polar Ash, and Warm White, plus Deep Golden exclusive to the variant. The top-of-the-line Premium is also available in Roland Purple, Polar Ash, and Warm White.
  6. The G50 comes with a worry-free ownership backed by a 5-year or 100,000km warranty coverage. Maxus Philippines also offers 24/7 emergency roadside assistance and on-site servicing for corporate fleet accounts.
