After lots of leaks and rumors, OnePlus finally revealed the OnePlus 10 Pro in China early this week. The new flagship phone comes with such enviable specs as the latest Qualcomm chip, super-fast charging, and a top-end triple camera setup.
Here are four awesome features of the OnePlus 10 Pro that make us excited:
The OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, which promises 20% faster performance and 30% more power efficiency than the Snapdragon 888 found inside the OnePlus 9. It’s enhanced by HyperBoost full-link game frame stabilization technology for a better gaming experience.
In chinaChina, it comes with 8GB and 12GB RAM versions and 128GB and 256GB storage options.
As has been heavily rumored, the new phone comes with a triple-camera setup made in partnership with Hasselblad. There’s a 48MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide shooter, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom.
According to GSMArena, the Hasselblad partnership brings Natural Color Optimization 2.0, which promises colors that are closer to real life, and a Pro Mode 2.0 RAW shooting mode.
Like the OnePlus 9 Pro, this new device features a 6.7-inch QHD display. However, it’s been upgraded with an LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) 2.0 AMOLED display, which allows it to refresh at variable rates between 1Hz and 120Hz while drawing less power than conventional LTPS OLED screens.
OnePlus has upped the battery capacity and charging power of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Keeping the phone’s lights on is a 5,000mAh battery (vs. the 9 Pro’s 4,500mAh). There’s also an ultra-fast 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is now on sale in China. Price starts at ¥4,699 for the 8GB + 128GB version. There’s also an 8GB + 256GB model (¥4,999) and a 12GB + 256GB (¥5,299) variant.
