10 ways to get creative on Samsung Galaxy Note 10

Now, that Samsung has finally unveiled its latest Galaxy phones, the two powerhouses Galaxy Note 10 and 10+, it’s time to take a closer look at what these devices offer. Giving users the freedom to work the way they want and showcase their creative spirit, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 smartphones come with a plethora of productivity tool and powerful specs, including professional-grade cameras, bigger storage and memory, fast charging capabilities, and an improved stylus.

Once you get your hand on the Galaxy Note or Galaxy Note 10+, make sure to give the following features a try and see the vast improvement these will do to your creative process.

1. Handwriting-to-text

The re-designed S Pen comes with enhanced editing and writing functionalities such as converting handwritten notes to editable digital text. Available in the Samsung Notes app, this feature also exports your written notes to a variety of different formats, including Microsoft Word. You can also customize the notes by shrinking, enlarging, or changing the color of the text.

2. Air actions

Another S Pen capabilities available on the Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ is the Air actions, which allows you to control certain features of the device via gestures made with the stylus. Furthermore, developers can create customized gestures for the S Pen by opening up the Air actions SDK.

3. Night Mode

Taking selfies in low light situations–at dinner, at concerts, or during sunset–is not a problem anymore. The Galaxy Note 10 and 10+’s Night Mode lets you capture striking selfies no matter how dim or dark the conditions. Of course, this feature is available on the rear cameras of the phones as well.

4. Live Focus video

With the Galaxy Note 10 sporting a triple rear camera setup, while the Galaxy Note 10+ has quad rear cameras, there’s a lot of ways you can get creative with your captured moments. One of which is the Live Focus video, which adds depth-of-field adjustments to your footage. This allows you to blur the background to focus on your subject.

5. Zoom-In Mic

One cool feature for videos is the Zoom-In Mic. The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ can amplify the audio in the frame and push out the background noise. Imagine recording a speaker on a stage and you’re sitting two rows back; zoom in on the person and automatically, the nearby noises are reduced and the speaker’s voice is made more prominent in the video.

6. AR Doodle

With AR Doodle, Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ can use the S Pen to personalize photos with dynamic drawings, effects, and animations to an image.

7. Video Editor

Once you’ve recorded your video, the Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ allows you to edit the footage on the move and using the S Pen. No need to endure inaccurate trims and cuts; you can use the S Pen to tap and select a clip more precisely.

8. Screen Recorder

The Screen Recorder is a nifty feature for gamers who want to add personality to their streams and vloggers who want to create more tutorial content. This tool capture what’s on the screen, use picture-in-picture to add reactions, and use the S Pen to annotate while recording.

9. 3D Scanner

Utilizing its DepthVision camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ can take a scan of an object and instantly turn it into a movable 3D rendering. Imagine the things you can create with a 3D image of your subject!

10. Super Steady

The new and improved Super Steady feature stabilizes your videos more seamlessly now, removing the bumps and shakes–no more blurry action shots! The Super Steady works even when you’re camera is zoomed in and in Hyperlapse mode (steady time-lapse videos, yey!)
